  • Creative direction shapes how an idea becomes an image.
    I work upstream — defining visual intent, references, lighting language, and composition — so every image feels intentional and coherent. Whether starting from a loose brief or a fully formed concept, the goal is to create visuals that make sense creatively and strategically.

  • From small studio shoots to more complex productions, I support projects through planning, execution, and delivery. This includes set design, lighting setups, on-set decision making, and coordination when needed. The focus is always on efficiency, clarity, and delivering images that hold up across platforms and uses.

  • Visual consulting is for brands and teams who already produce content but want to improve consistency, quality, or workflow. This can include lighting systems, studio optimization, shooting guidelines, or feedback on existing imagery. The objective is to build repeatable visual standards that save time and raise overall quality.

Education focuses on transmitting practical knowledge — grounded in real studio practice and real-world assignments. Education includes workshops, private training, and instruction delivered through established photography programs, including Chicago Photography Classes.

These sessions are practical, focused, and grounded in studio practice — designed for photographers and creatives who want to improve how they actually work, not just understand theory.

  • Custom training sessions for teams producing content in-house. These can be one-day or multi-day formats, tailored to your equipment, space, and objectives. The emphasis is on practical skills, visual consistency, and empowering teams to work more efficiently and confidently.

  • One-on-one mentorship for photographers looking to refine their work, process, or professional direction. Sessions can focus on portfolio review, lighting approach, workflow, pricing, or positioning. Mentorship is conversational, honest, and adapted to where you are — and where you want to go.
